✨ Hey there, my name is Alina Ashraff and I am currently a Senior UX Researcher based out of San Francisco, CA!
If you are here to learn more about myself and my work, you have come to the right place! See below for a bit more about myself, some case studies of projects I have recently worked on, and best ways to reach me 🤝🏽
I am born and raised in California and I have been living in San Francisco the past few years. I started my journey into UXR at UC Berkeley, where I majored in Cognitive Science and focused on Computation Studies and HCI. I specifically did coursework and club projects focused on user insights and learned how to conduct research and present those findings into actionable steps. In my last semester I interned at Canoo where I was an Associate Product Manager and eventually became an APM after graduating in May 2021. After spending some time learning about the product lifecycle, I transitioned back to where my passions lied, within UX research. I started off as an Associate UX research at Okta, where I got to build my craft and learn how to conduct research in the B2B SaaS world. From there, I got more experience leading studies on my own, owning research roadmaps, and presenting my findings across different product teams and levels. I am now leading work within our Identity Governance product area and as a Senior UX Researcher, I am focusing on conducting strategic pieces of work, including foundational research, mixed method studies, and work on emerging areas like AI Agents and AI tooling.
Outside of work you will see me enjoying music (and learning how to mix/DJ on my own), being outdoors, developing my lasted film, and getting all the good eats (while trying to avoid the TikTok lines)!
↓ Now lets get into some projects I am most proud of!
